General Questions

01

How can I book an appointment?

You can easily book your appointment via the contact form, WhatsApp, phone, or email. If you have a special request or are unsure whether your desired design requires a consultation, feel free to reach out.

02

How does appointment booking with a deposit work?

Your deposit (€50 - €100, depending on the design) will be deducted from the final price on the day of your tattoo appointment. For larger projects, it will be deducted at the last session.
The deposit secures your appointment - once it has been received, your booking is confirmed.
If you need to reschedule, please inform me at least 48 hours in advance. In this case, your deposit remains valid and will be applied to the new appointment.
If you do not cancel and simply do not show up or cancel too late (less than 48 hours in advance), I will keep the deposit as compensation for the missed appointment.

03

Do I need a consultation before getting a tattoo?

That depends on your tattoo. For small, simple designs, no consultation is necessary - you can book directly. For larger, custom, or cover-up projects, I recommend a consultation to discuss the design, placement, and all details.

04

How long does a tattoo session take?

The duration varies depending on several factors, including size, level of detail, and body placement.

  • Small tattoos: 30 - 60 minutes
  • Medium-sized tattoos: 1 - 3 hours
  • Large projects: Several hours or sessions

For very detailed or large-scale tattoos, it may be beneficial to divide the process into multiple sessions.

Tattoo & Style Questions

05

Can you tattoo my own design?

Yes, I can use your design or modify it if needed to ensure optimal aesthetics and technical execution. If you're unsure whether your design is suitable, you can send it to me in advance or schedule a consultation.

06

Do you offer cover-ups or touch-ups?

Yes, I offer cover-ups. Not all old tattoos can be completely covered, but there are often creative solutions. A personal consultation is crucial to finding a feasible and visually appealing solution together.

07

What styles do you specialize in?

I offer a wide range of tattoo styles, tailored to your individual preferences:

  • Geometric, Mandala & Dotwork: Symmetrical patterns, fine dotwork, and intricate ornamentation.
  • Blackwork: Strong contrasts, solid black areas, and bold lines.
  • Black & Grey: Realistic shading, smooth transitions, and detailed designs.
  • Old School: Classic designs with bold colors, thick outlines, and a retro aesthetic.
  • Japanese: Traditional Japanese motifs such as dragons, koi fish, and cherry blossoms with dynamic compositions.
  • Fineline: Minimalist tattoos with thin, precise lines and delicate details.
  • Cover-Ups & Tattoo Renewal: Revamping or creatively redesigning existing tattoos.

If you're looking for a specific style or need a consultation, feel free to reach out.

Before the Tattoo

08

How should I prepare for my appointment?

  • Fill out the consent form: Can be completed online in advance on the website.
  • Get enough sleep & eat well: Arrive well-rested and with sufficient energy for the session.
  • No alcohol & no blood-thinning medication: Avoid at least 24 hours beforehand.
  • Wear comfortable clothing: Preferably something that makes the tattoo area easily accessible.
In the studio, we wear indoor shoes. You are welcome to bring your own or borrow a pair on-site.
  • Skin preparation: If the tattoo area has a lot of hair, you can shave it a day before. If necessary, we will take care of shaving in the studio.

09

Can I take painkillers before the tattoo?

Medications like Aspirin or Ibuprofen should be avoided as they thin the blood and can affect healing. If you take painkillers for medical reasons, please consult me in advance.

10

Which body areas are particularly sensitive to pain?

Pain perception is subjective, but some areas are considered more sensitive than others.

  • More sensitive: Ribs, hands, feet, elbows, back of knees
  • Less sensitive: Upper arm, thigh, shoulder, calf

If you're unsure which area is best for you, I'm happy to advise you.

After the Tattoo

11

How do I care for my fresh tattoo?

After your session, you will receive detailed aftercare instructions that summarize all the important information:

  • Only wear the protective film for the recommended duration (usually a few hours).
  • Clean the tattooed area with lukewarm water and pH-neutral soap - do not rub it vigorously.
  • Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare cream to avoid over-moisturizing.
  • Avoid scratching and ensure that no tight clothing rubs against the tattooed area.
  • For about 2-3 weeks: No direct sunlight, tanning beds, swimming, or bathing.

12

How long does the healing process take?

The first superficial layers heal within 7 - 14 days. However, full skin regeneration can take 4 - 6 weeks. During this time, proper protection and care are essential. Please follow the aftercare instructions carefully to ensure optimal healing. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.

13

Can I go swimming with a fresh tattoo?

No. Bathing, swimming, and sauna visits are not recommended for the first 2 - 3 weeks. Showering briefly is fine, but avoid prolonged soaking.

Other Questions

14

At what age can I get a tattoo?

I generally tattoo clients aged 18 and older. In some cases, I may tattoo individuals 16 and older with a signed consent form and the presence of a legal guardian. Whether this is possible depends on the design and body placement - I decide this individually after a short consultation.

15

How much does a tattoo cost?

The price of a tattoo depends on several factors, including size, level of detail, body placement, and style. Small tattoos start at €100, while larger and custom projects are priced based on complexity and time required.
